The ramp is finished!!

And this time I has so much help!  It is so much better with two strong men to help.  Thanks so much to Regis and to James.

The cement was not completely cured when I took these shots, though it was very weight bearing.  This is going to be SOOO nice for the back yard access.

Dress project

It might finally be time for me to buckle down and adjust that 1930's era dress form I found in my attic this year.  I am much larger than the lady who lived here in 1930.  I think women used to adjust these forms with help from their mothers, or something because doing it by yourself is really rather difficult.

I now have the concept design for the dresses worked out, anyways.

Dress project

My dresses are on hold until I can determine a new design and work out the pattern needed.  The current pattern will be going in the trash once my new design is in hand.  The effort was sincere, and the fabric waste was minimal, so I guess this is a good turn, overall.  I will need to examine my tension settings since it's been quite a while since I worked in muslins.
